TOTAL House + Flooring
::: Logo Design / Branding :::
Brian of AdJourney was hired by Francy Thompson to help them find a new name for her interior design studio and showroom in addition to create a new logo and develop branding. We settled on TOTAL House + Flooring, created some compelling visual imagery around the logo design and implemented it in business cards, signage and presentation materials.
Grab Attention. Be Memorable. Be Relevant
There are some pretty basic rules at play when developing a brand and designing a logo. It is in the sequence of engagement.
1. Grab Attention.
The design has to be worthy of attention. It must catch the eye and engage the senses. If it is too busy, it gets lost. If it is too simple, it does not captivate. It has to be just enough…
2. Be Memorable
After you have captured their attention, you want to be remembered. You hope to show up in the client’s path of viewing again – and when they see you – stand out in a familiar and comfortable way. Be remembered for something good.
3. Be Relevant
While the logo does NOT have to match the prodcut or service being offered, it does have to feel at home there. It must relate and be relevant to the audience.
